Maui Jim defective glasses cost you! Don't buy! - maui jim sun glasses
When you pay over $300 for sunglasses, you expect service. I used the glasses very sparingly, but a few months after the purchase the frame broke. The vendor wouldn't help - you have to deal directly with Maui Jim's. Not only do you have to put up with the inconvenience of not having the glasses, you have to send the glasses for repair. Fill out a form, pay the postage, and pay a fee for them to handle your request. If they determine it is a manufacturing defect then that is your cost. Otherwise you pay for repairs. Why would anyone pay for a factory defect is beyond any logic of a company that wants to remain reputable. I have purchased several Maui Jim glasses before but after this experience - never again. Poor product quality and poor customer service!
